Position available: Junior Electrical Engineer

Requirements: Bachelor in Electrical Engineering (US degree)

Duties:

Design, develop, and test electric power solutions to OEMs for high performance batteries and built-in and external charges for portable computers, communication devices, camcorders, and power tools.

Design battery fuel gauge and protection circuits according to customers' requirements for electrical specifications for rechargeable batteries, perform micro-controller programming and PCB design by using computer-assisted design software and equipment such as digital oscilloscope, logic analyzer, micro-controller programmer, Protel.

Draw layouts for circuits boards according to engineering specifications, such as components specifications and design rules, and knowledge of engineering design schematics, review layout when printed circuit board (PCB) is produced to make sure that the PCB meets customers' design specifications.

Test procedures for printed circuit boards and ensure that manufacturing and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements.

Conduct performance evaluation of specific application with Lithium ion, Nickel Metal Hydride, Nickel Cadmium, and Sealed Lead Acid.
